Like a tailor-made dress, the Slamp Veli Prisma Large Ceiling/Wall Light by Slamp is assembled entirely by hand. It "clothes" and amplifies light with its distinctive ruffled shade, made out of specialty prismatic Lentiflex material. More than two and-a-half feet around, this fixture will make a big impression on walls or ceilings.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
