The Driade Plie Armchair was designed to encourage the conversational ballet with a generally relaxed, comfortable posture and a tall privacy-enhancing back. The entire chair is molded out of a single piece of weatherproof polyethylene plastic.
Founded in 1968, Driade continues to bring the seemingly paradoxical blend of playfulness and rationality of that time to current Italian furniture designs. Seating, tables and home furnishings designs from the likes of Philippe Starck, Alessandro Mendini and Ludovia & Roberto Palomba bend the rules in the best possible way; they are sculptural and unexpected, yet always of the highest quality and comfort.
