Key Features
The Moon Table Lamp by Slamp is a haunting blend of portable and sculpture, taking its namesake from our nearest astrological neighbor for obvious reasons. The fixture is a celebration of the company's original Moon lamp from its 1993 release, with a few updates to allow its seamless integration into contemporary settings. The Moon now features a modern marble-effect finish, acting as a stand for the titular Opalflex moon that houses an internal LED filament. The base itself is geometric and bold, acting as the perfect component to a fixture that is highlighted by a seamless circular shade.
First conceived in 1994 by Italian designer Roberto Ziliani, Slamp lighting has garnered world recognition as being at the top of a very short list of innovative and envelope-pushing lighting companies. Their range of products made of cutting-edge polymer plastics are cold-formed to avoid CO2 emissions, while excess scraps are recycled into beehives. Slamp, with their resounding mantra, "From Italy to Eternity," sets the stage for their newest and most avant-garde collections yet.
