From the mind of artist and designer Jamie Hayon, the Formakami Table Lamp by &Tradition brings a sense of magic and serenity to its surroundings. Inspired by the history of iconic Asian lanterns and the way different shapes, sizes, and colors can be interpreted to mean a variety of things, this piece was handcrafted with an airy, expressive shape. Described as an optimist, this designer worked with the symbolic importance lamps hold in all of our lives to drive out darkness and inspire hope. With a delicate and contemporary design, this table lamp illuminates a soft and inviting texture while also lending a harmonious shape to the environment around it.
&Tradition aims to bridge the values of solid handicraft to contemporary design. Their collection not only covers iconic designs and undiscovered gems from the masters of yesterday, but it also features new works from leading designers of today and from the talent of tomorrow. Formally known as Unique Copenhagen, &Tradition encourages the creation of what may become the classics of the future.
