The Zaneen Story
Robert Pietrobon, the current president and CEO of Zaneen, co-founded the company with his father-in-law, the late Anthony Basso, in 1981. Fluent in Italian (their heritage is Northern Italian), the two set off to bridge the gap between Italian manufacturers and the North American market by bringing quality Italian light fixtures overseas.

Why We Love Zaneen Lighting
Working mainly with white frosted glass, Zaneen hand-forms modern light fixtures into many shapes with a range of personalities. Their high-tech metal fixtures range from casual to decorative, each one an original lighting design, all done with classic materials. The contemporary lighting pieces are of excellent quality, and their minimalist appearance allows the fixtures to work in a number of different spaces.

Zaneen has worked on many high profile, large scale projects that include Disneyworld, Six Flags and Atlantic City's Show Boat. As of 2012, Zaneen has been able to offer the iconic designs from the bold and contemporary Slamp.
