Taking cues from the Voronoi pattern in nature, the Voronoi pattern is a piece designed with the idea that beautiful objects and sustainable, efficient technologies belong together. It’s an imaginative piece presenting an inviting retro aesthetic. The subtly familiar look of Tala’s work makes their pieces feel permanent, especially as they use cutting-edge LEDs and the timeless art of mouth-blown glass. Glassblowers expand hot glass through a mold then give it an organic Voronoi quality as they hand soften the edges like erosion over a rock. This sculptural element reflects light beautifully in the air as it fits to a handsome lamp holder suspended to a fine cord suspension. Designers arrange the classically styled filaments inside the bulb in a beautiful curve inspired by the golden rule. This LED filament transforms into a bright contour of seductive ambient light.
