The Trumpet Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. is sculptural and slender, with a broad domed base, a slim tapered neck, and a cone-shaped shade. The handmade ceramic base features a reactive glaze for artisanal character, with a brass-finished accent on the neck and finial, while the linen shade has a rolled edge for an extra pop of texture. Fine horizontal bands wrap the ceramic body and emphasize its rounded shape. The shade directs light downward and outward, illuminating the patterned base and nearby tabletop.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
