The Toffee Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. has a tall, tapered body, a rounded neck, and a wide drum shade. The base is made from hand-cast ceramic with a reactive glaze, while the neck and finial are brass and the rolled-edge shade is sheathed in linen. Slight tonal variation enhances the glossy ceramic surface, making each lamp distinct. The broad shade spreads light downward and outward, providing ambient illumination across the tabletop and nearby area without exposing the light directly.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
