The Serpentine Table Lamp from Jamie Young Co. has a full teardrop base, slender neck, square plinth, and wide drum shade. The base is hand-cut glass, while the plinth and finial are acrylic, adding a Mid-Century Modern-inspired edge; the rolled-edge shade is covered in linen. Fine scale-like facets cover the glass and become more visible when the lamp is lit. The shade softens the light across the surrounding surface, while the clear plinth elevates the patterned body from the tabletop.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
