Key Features
Designed by Miguel Mila in 1961, the Santa & Cole TMM Floor Lamp is one nifty piece of industrial engineering and a Spanish design classic. The winner of Spain's ADI-FAD Critics Award in 1962, TMM is highlighted by a super clean and adjustable parchment drum shade. It has the ability to move up and down (and around) the top half of its double-tiered stem controlled by...a rubber band. Additionally, there is no conventional on/off switch. The lone cord serves as TMM's source of power (and power control), with a gentle tug of the cord. Simply ingenious.
Santa & Cole is a Barcelona-based company established in 1985 by Javier Santa, Gabriel Cole and Nina Maso. Their focus is on industrial design and seeking out modern light fixtures that provide more than just mass or function and thus instill a sense of serenity, culture and well-being.
