Hanging from the ceiling by way of a simple downrod, this piece was designed in partnership by Alberto Lievore and Jeannette Altherr and won the Archiproducts Design Awards in 2018. Inspired by the interplay of transparency, opacity, and translucence, the oval-shaped shade contains a balance of opaque and clear glass, and the integrated LED within plays with both layers, introducing a bright and inviting layer of light that softly and enticingly spreads into the room.
