Key Features
The Spirit Large Pendant from Vistosi livens up the space with an evocative blown glass form, wrapped in layers of mesmerizing highlights. Designer Marco Acerbis’ work showcases his fascination with scale. With the pendant, Acerbis imagines the small diamond as a grand form. The diamond was chosen as inspiration because of its legendary light-catching properties. This diamond shade is created using traditional Murano glass-making techniques. Glass artists transform molten glass in layers, creating a light-catching surface that softens the brilliant light source. Ethereal in suspension, the pendant distributes an atmospheric aura together with an accenting down glow.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
