These chairs are great. I Just moved into an apartment and purchased a small dining table. I purchased only 2 upholstered chairs for it because of the size and space in the dining area, but knew there would likely be a few times when there would be more than 2 people. I saw these online and ordered two hoping they would look nice in person. THEY ARE GORGEOUS! The quality is good. The mechanism in opening the chairs feels strong and durable. They seat wonderfully and are so comfortable. And, again, they are beautiful and do the job. I liked them so much that I ordered two more just in cased of needed extra seating. They take up no space. I have them in a spare bedroom closet at the end of the clothes rack. So hardly noticeable and taking very little space. Great chairs at a great price. So worth it and more!

I bought these to use as extra dining chairs. They're great if you don't have space to hide away your extra chairs! Their design is pretty unusual for a folding chair. The back of the seat slides along a channel in the aluminum frame that becomes the back legs, so when it's open, it's surprisingly stable. When it's closed, it looks good hanging on a wall. I ordered the matching hook from Lumens. It's not listed on the site, but a sales rep was able to find it for me. Four chairs fit on a hook.

For a small apartment, the Skip Folding Chair is stylish, modern, minimalist, it folds compactly and feels well made. The wood is solid, finished with care and the sliding mechanism is smooth. The only drawback is that the chairs are very expensive.
