The Connubia Story
Antonio Calligaris started his small furniture business in 1923. His product was a handcrafted wooden chair with a hand-woven rush seat and slightly curved legs. That same attention to detail and use of intelligent materials continues today with the Connubia collection. Introduced at the 2016 Milan Fair, the Connubia line focuses on the “essentials,” which for this leading Italian furniture manufacturer are the table and chairs.
Why Connubia Furniture
Built with the manufacturing capabilities of the Calligaris facilities in Italy, Connubia furniture is beautiful and artfully crafted. With styles ranging from classic to futuristic, Connubia chairs are ergonomic and versatile with many stackable designs that invite comfort both indoors and outdoors. La tavolo (the table) is the main character of the dining room with Connubia tables inviting family and friends to gather round. Tabletop materials like ceramic stone, tempered glass and wood unite with wood and metal to match many settings. Designed to simplify everyday life, Connubia offers a full line of extendable tables.
Fun Facts About Connubia
“Dining together” is the Connubia motto and its logo is a clever merger of three interconnected circles. Partially shaded, the graphic symbol becomes three chairs around a table, expressing the interconnectedness of tables and chairs.
