Make an enduring addition to your living spaces and side tables with the stylish, screened design of the Shogun Table Lamp from Artemide. A classy contender from the 1980s updated for today with potent and power-efficient LED lamping, its enduring relevance makes it a force to be reckoned with. The fixture itself has been featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and its cylindrical body features a horizontal black and white stripes pattern. The body contracts as it rises to a single strong lamp beneath a tilting steel screen shade, which can be tilted up for bright light or back down for a warm ambiance and more conventional style.

I purchased this lamp for my office desk, and wanted something with a lot of visual interest. Provides great lighting and such a knockout design. A classic that will be kept forever.

Artemide

Artemide takes its name from Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon—a reflection of the brand’s ethos in creating fixtures that deliver an elegant, ethereal glow. Founded in Milan in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, Artemide has been a driving force in Italian modern design.
