The Cappellini Story
Founded in 1946, Cappellini is now led by Art Director Giulio Cappellini, an accomplished Milanese architect who, over the past few decades, matured the company into a global, innovative design leader. Recognized as a launch pad for emerging designers, Cappellini has realized many of the most iconic products from the likes of Jasper Morrison, Shiro Kuramata, Marc Newson, Marcel Wanders, Patricia Urquiola, Nendo, the Bouroullec brothers and many more.
Key Features
Elegant, open, and abstract, with a touch of playful physicality, the Revolving Cabinet from Cappellini provides storage and style in equal measure. A Shiro Kuramata design that resembles the gliding shapes of mobile sculpture and embodies his playful interpretations of modern Italian design, his designs have made it to the permanent collections of museums and are equally suited to add a rich accent to living spaces. The cabinet is anchored by a vertical metal stand and column, setting a series of glossy plastic drawers along its length, each one able to pivot and reveal or conceal its contents while collaborating with other drawers to create a unique and memorable shape.
Founded in 1946, Cappellini is an Italian furniture design company founded by Enrico Cappellini. Working with renowned designers such as Tom Dixon, Marcel Wanders and Patricia Urquiola, Cappellini produces iconic designs from a hub north of Milan where ideas, assembly, quality control and shipping all take place.
