The Plisse Vacuum Jug from Alessi keeps one’s liquids sealed and warm in a functional, sculptural design. Creator Michele De Lucchi brings a craftsmanship-based approach to his pieces. Founding member of the Memphis design movement, De Lucchi’s artful background shows in the jug’s elegant striations and elementary shapes. This striated form features thermos insulation for sustained warmth. Its sealing lid notches open with ease. The spout protrudes elegantly with a contoured edge to provide a smooth pour.
