Designed by Rainer Mutsch, the minimalist Orchid LED Table Lamp from Axolight Lighting makes much ado about something! Made in Italy from matte-finished aluminum, the fixture showcases a low-profile disc base extending a single cylindrical stem upward, holding out a down-angled, plastic-shaded LED module. The light from the module combines both a focused pool of downlight for reading or other daily tasks with bright, wide-ranging ambiance in a small package. It’s an excellent choice for the den, book nook, or a sleek-surfaced side table.
Started in 1996, Axolight is an Italian lighting company that designs and produces high-end contemporary lighting products. Each piece is handmade in Scorzè, Venice, Italy whether standard or a custom, bespoke piece. In 2018, Axolight launched its first sustainable product made of recycled nylon, glass fiber and aluminum.
