The Mojave Floor Lamp by Global Views is a wonderfully minimalist luminaire inspired by the Scandinavian-designed lighting of the late 1940s. Its towering 82” form balances on a single strip of metal which zigs-zags under (and runs through) a cylindrical Hardback-Laminated shade wrapped in White Fabric. Once lit, the shade begins to glow, providing a warmth and levity to the surrounding space.
From ornamental period pieces to deco decorativeness to ethno-informed artisanal discoveries, Global Views offers a consistently updated mix of styles that are alternately elegant, exotic, refined and casual. Along with partners Studio A and DwellStudio, the collective offers stylish objects imbued with a global perspective that can accommodate a spectrum of design sensibilities. Call it Global Chic.
