The Global Views Story
Established in 1997, Global Views approaches the macrocosm of home décor with an expansive and eclectic world view. In what seems like a very short period of time, the company, along with distinctive brand partners in Studio A and DwellStudio, have amassed a home furnishings assortment of over 2500 products that have been sourced from around the globe.
Read MoreThe curated collection, ranging from ornamental period pieces to deco-inspired decor to ethno-informed artisanal discoveries, offers a consistently updated mix of styles that are alternately elegant, exotic, refined and casual. Global Views offers just that – stylish lighting fixtures and furniture imbued with a global perspective that can accommodate a spectrum of design sensibilities. Call it Global Chic.
Why We Love Global Views
Diversity. While it is hard not to overstate the universal point-of-view that serves as the Global Views calling card, so to speak, that does not equate to a catalog littered with indigenous tchotchkes. Ditto for Studio A, a well-edited assemblage of styles that are rich in texture and elemental in design. From master glass blowers in Poland to supremely skilled ceramicists in Portugal, Studio A bypasses the world of mass-production in favor of unique, handcrafted and design-centric products.
DwellStudio, known for its adventuresome home furnishings, provides a decidedly contemporary counterpoint with a mélange of mid-century motifs. The uncluttered collection promotes clean simplicity, with sculptural geometrics and organic silhouettes advancing a modernist aesthetic.
A Fun Fact About Global Views
The Studio A line has come a long way since its inception in 2005. During that first year in business, the company’s best-selling product was a rice paddy paddle mounted on a stand.
