The Lita Mini Table Lamp with Base from Luceplan is a human-centered design, combining familiar motifs in a sculptural display. Creator David Dolcini’s goal for each piece is to make magic by balancing complexity and simplicity. This design starts with a base of smooth curves that recall mid-century motifs. On top lays a blown glass shade whose round form appears to expand with a series of vertical slits. These slits evoke the bamboo armature of traditional oriental lanterns. They silhouette beautifully as the globe radiates with a warm ambiance.
