The Jayda Mini Pendant from Alder & Ore adds dimension to inside spaces with airy, open elegance. A carefully considered design that blends contemporary simplicity with retro charm, it extends downward from a central ceiling mount via a long slender cord, terminating in a single downward oriented damp listed socket. An engaging shade structure comprised of smooth wooden ribs curls around the partially open lamping, sweeping down to an open base below, while a small metal sphere sits above it, providing an engaging accent. This contrasting arrangement of textures plays with notions of negative space while transforming bright light through the sides to a pleasing glow around the downlight.
