Key Features
A rhythmic image based on a single shape. The Ecos 90 Flushmount from Vistosi is a composition of glass rings, captivating with a cast image on the ceiling and a sea of highlights on its silhouette. This piece reflects designer Renato Toso, N. Massari and Associates’ approach of giving the traditional glass arts a contemporary aesthetic. The studio explores the limitless modular properties of the ring shape. Glass artists craft each ring by hand, detailing their surface with a striated texture. These rings are arranged one by one in a cascading silhouette that envelops the brilliant bulbs and the sleek framework. The bulbs give the glass touches of vibrant highlights, leaving a radiating cast display on the ceiling. The flushmount generates a clean atmospheric glow in the room.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
