The Diffrient World Chair by Humanscale was designed by Niels Diffrient, who wanted to create the most minimal, full-function task chair possible. This addition to workspaces is both simple and beautiful, following his philosophy that form should follow function. With only two manual settings that eliminate the need for excess knobs and buttons, the rest of this chair is designed to automatically adjust, supporting each person by using their body weight and the laws of physics. A weight-sensitive recline combined with form-sensing mesh technology provides lumbar support, making this chair simple and comfortable to use. The mesh construction continues to the edge of the seat – removing pressure from behind the knees, making it easy to sit for longer without adding stress to the lower body. Made from less parts than a traditional task chair and weighing in at only 30 lbs, this design uses fewer raw materials and manufacturing processes – making it a lightweight and environmentally-friendly choice.

- To remove dirt and stains that result from everyday wear and tear, use a solution of mild soap. Apply the solution over the soiled area and let it sit for approximately two minutes. Rub gently with a sponge or brush to remove the stain. Blot excess cleaner with a dry cloth and repeat at least once more to ensure total stain removal.
