The Bombe Coffee Pot was first introduced in 1945 as part of a full tea service crafted from chrome-plated and silver-plated heavy brass. Now Bombe is available in modern stainless steel with bakelite or applewood knobs and handles. Very much a product of the postwar sociocultural climate, Bombe reflects the design and customs that are associated with the first age of Italian design. Rounded shapes and clean lines call to mind the curves of the Vespa and the Isetta bubble car, and gives the Bombe Coffee Pot a hint of pop art combined with classic Italian design.

Alessi, known as the Italian design factory, has manufactured household products since 1921. The stylish and fun items offered are the result of contemporary partnerships with some of the world's best designers of unique and modern home accessories.
