- Clean woven fiber and seat cushions by sweeping away dirt with a soft-bristled hand brush. Wipe furniture with a soft, clean, non-abrasive cloth and a mixture of 1 part clear (not dyed) dish soap to 3 parts clean, cold water. Rinse with clean, cold water and allow to dry naturally. Use high-quality, breathable furniture covers, to protect furniture when not in use. Avoid acidic or oily substances coming into contact with woven fiber or cushion covers. Blot up spills immediately with a clean damp cloth and rinse with cold water. Avoid scrapes, scratches, or impact to powder-coated metal frames. If the powder coating is damaged, the metal can begin to rust or corrode. Only use furniture on level surfaces and do not rock back and forth on any type of seating. Never pick at, cut, or play with woven fiber. Keep sharp objects and cutting tools away from furniture. DO not leave sun or reading glasses on woven fiber outdoors. They can magnify sunrays and burn the fiber.
