Key Features
Evoking the brilliant, jewel-laced visuals of an outspread necklace. TheWelles 24/26/28/30 Glass Long Chandelier from Gabriel Scott is jewelry for the home, dazzling up rooms with rich light in complex forms. The piece represents designer Gabriel Scott’s duality-focused approach, one combining feminine and masculine elements. Inspired by the art of jewelry-making, the chandelier sets itself apart with faceted blown glass shades, designed as a reminder of hand-cut gems. The shades dynamically sweep across the eyes as they string together with sleek metal hardware reminiscent of a ring’s prongs. The necklace-like-visual hangs gracefully in the air with a floating quality thanks to a series of slender wires. While captivating with the lights off, the piece brims with liveliness as radiant light pops through the glass. The radiant glass showers the room with a memorable, atmospheric glow.
Formed by Canadian brothers-in-law Gabriel Kakon and Scott Richler in 2012, Gabriel Scott designs and produces sculptural modern pendants, chandeliers and wall sconces inspired by jewelry. Often combining blown molded glass, marble and steel, each fixture is expertly handcrafted from their Montreal studio.
