Ulula Pendant

Design so refined that all who look upon it will proclaim “ooh la la!” The Ulula Pendant from Karman presents a singular experience with an unforgettable character. A creation from the mind of Karman art director Matteo Ugolini, the design exemplifies his long experience with mixing traditional forms with natural elements. A simple fixture at first glance, it uses a single slim but robust cable to suspend bright lamping within a white-painted fiberglass sheet. An array of lace inserts present themselves as geographic areas on a lunar surface, while the partially opaque accents that further blunt direct glare, bathing its surroundings in a soft, warm light that suggests lunar reflection to create a full moon every night.
