Surprisingly strong for its size
We bought this to replace a larger (too big) fan for our daughters room. It's output based on size is impressive. Only thing I would caution is you need a 3 wire (plus ground) hook up for this fan because the wall plate separates the fan and light where most remote controlled fans house the separate functions internally. I ran a new electrical line with relative ease and the fan is great.

This fan was every thing and more It looks great in our kitchen, when you put this little fan on high it can kick some wind up. It was every thing we expected and more.

not brushed steel or silver
The "silver" blades on this fan look almost brown, they are such a dark, flat gray. The "brushed steel" of its body is also not great. Can't comment on any of its features as I never installed it. Quite frankly also annoyed that I was charged $30 to return a fan that looks nothing even remotely like the photo online.

Spacesaver Fan Packs a Punch!
I needed a small ceiling hugger fan for my bedroom as I have low ceilings. I could have gone with a larger blade regular fan but it would have looked out of place in my 10' by 12' bedroom. I was hesitant in purchasing this one since in its description its listed as a fan for closets and hallways and i felt that perhaps it would not have good circulation in my bedroom. All my doubts were dissipated when my fan was installed. This small fan is awesome and really circulates the air . It has a very sturdy construction. You can tell it was very well made . There is nothing cheap looking at all about this product. I would have been happy with purchase just for fan alone. This unit also comes with a wall mount remote that has a dimmer for the light and also 3 speeds for the fan Even at the highest speed this fan is very quiet. Can you hear it working at high speed? Yes ,but its a low background noise like the soft wind you would hear with an open window. It doesnt distract at all from my ability to sleep. This fan I give 2 thumbs up. This is my second Minka Aire fan and I am very happy with both!.

Perfectly Compact
This fan packs a punch into tight spaces. We purchased two ceiling huggers. One for the office niche and one for the kid's rooms. They are compact, small, and have simple clean lines that make it adaptable to multiple styles. We love the dimmable light, and the multi-speed fan settings. We selected these over other units that only had the option of a remote control. With kids I didn't want to hunt for the lost controls all the time. They were easy to install. We did have one unit arrive without the glass light cover. Lumens quickly submitted for the missing item which arrived within a week.

Great fan
I bought 2 of these for an attic that has a sloped ceiling and they fit the space great. Look modern and work great. I'm glad I bought these!
