Timo Sarpaneva was inspired by his blacksmith grandfather in his creation of this design classic. Lovely on the stove or table, the Iittala Sarpaneva Cast Iron Casserole is made out of cast iron for even cooking, and has an enameled surface that keeps food from sticking. The removable wood handle can be used to move the entire pot or inserted into a notch to just lift the lid.
