The Robertson Floor Lamp from Jamie Young Co. rises in a tall, tapering column beneath a generous drum shade with a refined, transitional presence. The column widens gently toward the floor, divided into stitched sections with a soft, natural texture, while a matching finial crowns the top. Artisans cover a wood frame in Italian hair-on-hide, and a linen shade with a rolled edge softens the light. With a handy foot switch, one sits well beside a leather armchair, or two can frame a sofa in a den.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
