The Almond Floor Lamp from Jamie Young Co. leans into tropical influences and a vintage feel, stacking a column of elongated oval forms on a round, stepped base. Handcrafted from acacia wood, the stem is wire-brushed by an artisan to raise subtle patterns along the natural grain. Above it, a hand-woven drum shade of palm leaf offers a knotted texture and a rolled edge, letting light filter through gaps in the weave.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
