The Fitzgerald Floor Lamp from Jamie Young Co. features a wide cone shade at the end of an angled arm, evoking vintage reading lamps with relaxed coastal ease. Artisans hand-wrap the slender stem in natural abaca fiber, while the adjustable shade is woven from jute in open, radiating strands that finish in a rolled edge. A substantial base balances the delicate frame above it, and a pivoting joint lets the arm tilt light wherever it is needed.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
