The Paolo Rizzatto Story
Born in 1941 in Milan, Paolo Rizzatto earned his degree in architecture Milan Polytechnic in 1965. He co-founded the Italian lighting company, Luceplan, in 1978 with fellow designers, Riccardo Sarfatti and Sandra Severi. Rizzatto is a well-known contemporary lighting designer with projects on display in museums around the world including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and he's won numerous awards like the prestigious Compasso d'Oro and the Red Dot award. Rizzatto does freelance work in architecture, design and interior design.
