The Vistosi Lepanto Floor Lamp is an artfully crafted piece of Murano glass, handmade with a special technique that renders tiny bubbles across the surface of the shade. The bubbles (also known as “pulegoso”) become visible once lit, variegating the bright light with subtle texture. The slender profile acts as an ideal vessel for the interior fluorescent light source, ultimately shedding an even spread of ambient light from the center. The tubular structure gently fans outward at the top, resembling a tulip or horn that can easily fit in any space while also providing a generous amount of illumination.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
