Named after the pleats that form underneath mushroom caps, this piece features a hand-folded foil shade with delicate ridges running vertically across its globe-shaped silhouette. A single LED rests inside the piece, suspended by a slender cord that drops from the ceiling. When illuminated, the pendant glows warmly and creates an ambient light for the room.
Tage Klint pioneered the family handicraft business in Denmark in 1943, inspired by P.F. Jensen-Klints invention of the pleated lampshade. Today, Le Klint lighting is distinguished by cool mid-century modern lighting designs that offer movement and sculpture to contemporary spaces.
