The La Roche LED Wall Sconce from Nemo offers a stylish contemporary presence to indoor wall spaces. Excellent on either side of a mirror or spaced in an even arrangement, this updated Le Corbusier design from Italy extends a vertical rod from a low-profile wall mount. Two round caps extend from the mount to restrain strong, energy-efficient LED lamping beneath a translucent glass cylinder. The smooth glass medium mellows direct glare, spilling a warm and pleasing ambiance around the fixture.
Founded in 1993 by Franco Cassina and Carlo Forcolini in Italy, Nemo was established to recreate the lighting pieces that best represented the "Golden Age" of Italian lighting design of the 1960s and 70s. Nemo acquired ItalianaLuce five years later, offering a line of clean, relaxed modern lighting that provided an informal counterpoint to the vintage mid-century authenticity found in Nemos modernist line of Franco Albini-designed lighting.
