The shells hang from the smooth metal frame of the fixture and are connected by tiny threads. They align in graceful columns, shallow along the outer edge and gradually longer towards the center, creating an elongated cone-like shape. A series of 6 candelabra-style bulbs hide within the structure, fully illuminating the closest shells with a brilliant warm glow and gradually diffusing towards the outer edges of the piece.
Alder & Ore features an eclectic blend of industrial and mid-century design, complete with rough-hewn metals, exposed or partially exposed lamping, and eccentric silhouettes.
