The seat and back are made of a single shell of laminated plywood of graduating thickness, from 15 plys at the center to 5 plys at the perimeter, bridged together with a graceful, sturdy waist. Sleek chrome legs and footrest infuse a touch of contemporary flair to this piece of furniture.
Architect and founder Benjamin Cherner founded Cherner Chair Company with his brother Thomas in 1999. Benjamin creates new designs for the line, while Norman Cherner’s original drawings and specs are used to craft those original designs with the highest quality and attention to detail.
