Powerful and Great-looking Fan
In our south-facing bedroom with a wall of windows facing Boca Ciega Bay, we needed a fan which would be powerful and quiet. We also wanted a fan with an interesting design. The Artemis XL5 satisfied all three of our top priorities.

Minka Artemis XL
The larger version of the Artems in white is fluid and sleek. Because the white is shiny plastic make note that it reflects light. If you have recessed lighting the movement of the blades I'd interferes with the light will create a strobe effect.

A piece of art
The fan is a piece of art that gets comments almost immediately when people walk in and see it in the great room. I like the DC motor benefits from a quiet and energy standpoint. My only slight criticism is that it's a bit pricey. But a great purchase and a statement fan.

Beautiful and elegant
This is such a beautiful fan. We put in in our renovated master bathroom and it really accessorizes the room! The silver color blends perfectly with the gray and white colors of our room. I actually prefer to keep it turned off because it is so beautiful. I only wish the light fixture was a clear glass, but don't let that deter you from this gorgeous fan.

Stunning fan
My husband & I purchased this fan for our high-ceilinged master suite, and it looks simply gorgeous! It has a contemporary look without being too "ultra-modern," it cools efficiently, and is super quiet. We had the smaller Artemis 3-blade fan in the living room of our previous home and always received compliments on it, so we didn't hesitate to purchase this larger version. Love it!

Makes a bold statement
Nothing says WOW like this fan. I was blown away with how sturdy its construction is - not a cheaply made fan for sure. Although this fan is more on the expensive side, it is worth the money (wish that Minka Aire have more sales). We chose the distressed Kona stain which has a reclaimed wood feel that matches a lot of the furniture in the house. With this fan being 62" in diameter, it gives a wow-factor when entering into the living area. Surprisingly the light is very bright. During the day, when the light is not switched on, the casing looks quite dark, but light does shine through efficiently. I honestly don't think we'll even have this fan higher than a setting of 2 (possibly 3) as the blades are set in such a way that it brings a lot of air flow. It is also super quiet, even at the highest setting. It's a brilliant find!

This thing is amazing. Quiet and very regal in its rustic chic presence. so elegant with a distressed wood finish and very sleek modern blades. It works so perfectling in my cathedral ceilinged bedroom. I can't stand any noise and this doesn't have any.
