The sleek design of the Ameluna Pendant by Artemide is the product of a collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Style, utilizing the same lighting technology that’s available in their new E-Class vehicle. An aluminum band is welded to the optics to help support the LED strip. This strip is hidden behind the lower profile in order to maintain the purity of the product’s form. The transparent shade is made out of injection-molded acrylic that directs the light and partially refracts it. The optional color spot allows for a wide spectrum of hues and can be controlled by the Ameluna app. Features heat-sink technology that evenly distributes light and a reflective ring around the edge of the fixture that illuminates the transparent shade.
