Key Features
A pure and delightful personality. The Lucciola Flushmount from Vistosi dots the ceiling with a pleasant warmth through an attractive blown glass construction. This flushmount’s refined design speaks to Vistosi design studio’s process of combining ancient glass-making techniques with modern form. This flushmount appears to defy gravity while sitting on the ceiling with an ultra-low-profile metal canopy. The plump oval shape of the shade conceals the canopy to enhance the floating illusion. Each shade is mouth-blown by the glass artist for supreme optics. The white, opaque properties of the glass surface and its sweeping curves create a comfortable, glare-reduced light. The light casts against the ceiling and enters the room as a generous glow.
One of Italy’s most prestigious and prolific names in Murano glassmaking, Vistosi specializes in hand-blown glass lighting fixtures with an expertise that can be traced to the 1500s. Officially incorporated as Vetreria Vistosi in 1989 with the Moretti family, Vistosi continues to invest in new technologies and methods of production compatible with the historical craft, resulting in an extensive collection of highly decorative yet durable lighting designs.
