The Innermost Story
Back in 1999, Londoners Steve Jones and Russell Cameron decided to build a design brand based on collaboration with the vast pool of design talent in London. They named that brand Innermost and immediately went to work compiling their collection of contemporary lighting and furniture.
In order to create the most comprehensive and diverse product selection possible, Innermost soon expanded on the locale of their contributing designers throughout Europe and, within two years of Innermost's founding, the world.
Why We Love Innermost Lighting & Furniture
The differing perspectives of a worldwide team of designers give Innermost lighting and furnishings "Quintessentially Global Style" that appeals to a wide audience of design lovers. By using ordinary materials in extraordinary ways, Innermost lighting products distinguish themselves with quality, innovation and not a little bit of wit. As such, while lovingly designed and beautifully made, Innermost's modern light fixtures and furniture don't take themselves too seriously. You could call it accessible quirkiness.
A Fun Fact About Innermost
Innermost is truly an international endeavor. The contributing designers they represent currently hale from 12 different countries, and they've distributed their products and/or participated in installations in more than 30 countries.
Noteworthy Lighting From Innermost
With its airy loops of woven synthetic fabric, the Kapow! Pendant goes to show that contemporary lighting can have a fun and bouncy side. Inspired by the 1990s British TV show of the same name, the Jeeves Pendant and Wooster Pendant use, respectively, a metal-lined bowler and top hat to represent the lead characters and emit bright downlight.
