The DwellStudio Story
DwellStudio was established in 1999 by Christiane Lemieux as a way to start living "a life of adventure with her family"--and to create and share fantastic modern bedding. With degrees in Fashion Design and Art History, Lemieux is understandably inspired by travel, fashion and design in her creation of patterned bedding, rugs, pillows, home accessories and furniture.
The current collection of DwellStudio bedding and other textiles features reinterpretations of traditional and/or ethnic patterns to personalize the modern home.
Why We Love DwellStudio
The DwellStudio mission is to balance the needs of real life with fantastic style. And they succeed with great aplomb, with cushy and comfy products that are easy to care for, maintaining their bright and bold patterns even with plenty of day-to-day use. The Dwell Studio duvet sets and other products go to show that high style--with personality no less--is possible in real life situations. Lemieux has even taken this philosophy and turned into a inspirational tome, Undecorate, published in early 2011.
