If desiring to transform an outdoor space, check the location rating as well. If the table lamp can be placed outside it will have either a damp or wet rating. A damp rating means it can be in the same area as water, but not directly exposed or in contact. A wet rating allows for direct exposure.

If the table lamp does work out well, consider adding more of the same design to fully transform the space into a Scandinavian home. Many table lamps have a floor lamp equivalent as a larger version.
