The Melrose Floor Lamp from Jamie Young Co. offers approachable opulence in a transitional design, with a tall column of stacked, ribbed segments. The column rises from a round base to a tapered drum shade with a rolled edge, gently diffusing the light. The cast-metal frame is finished by hand in genuine gold leaf, creating a rich texture that catches the light even when the lamp is off. A 3-way switch allows adjustable lighting, making it a refined addition beside a slipcovered sofa or armchair in a formal living room.

Jamie Young Co.

In 1997, Jamie Young Jeter and her husband David Jeter took a day trip to Mexico and returned with a car full of flower pots. After selling the lot to a local florist, they realized the market for unique garden pots was wide open and began to produce them. As they tinkered with designs, they realized the pots would make interesting lamp bases, and the Jamie Young Company was born.
