The B3 Wassily is a club chair stripped bare. Designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 for painter and Bauhaus instructor Wassily Kandinsky, it was the first chair ever made out of seamless, precision-drawn tubular steel. Taut leather strips provide support, yet offer a visual sense of lightness not possible with conventional seating. At 1:6 scale, the Vitra Miniature B3 Wassily replicates the Bauhaus classic down to the last minimalist detail.
