We are happy with our purchase. It was not difficult to install and it looks great.
Attractive, bright and easy to install
We bought 3 of these for our upstairs hallway several months ago and just added another one on the stairs. We got the 14.5 inch size, and with 2 bulbs each, they're very bright. The look is simple and clean and installing them was straightforward.

I like that there are options for type of light (i.e. LED, incandescent) and I like that this is made in the US.
basic light
On the 8.5" size the globe is held on by three screws which are visible and not attractive. looks kind of sleek in the photo but in person this is a very basic light.
