Beautiful Simple
Verified Buyer
This is a soft, beautiful, contemporary take on the ubiquitous old-style ceiling dish-type fixtures of which I am not a fan. So I was skeptical. This one is a definite step up, with a simple rounded disk shape and elegant design. Not cheap looking. We got the big one. It really puts out the light, although not harsh, and very even illumination through the frosted glass. I'd definitely recommend a dimmer switch (compatible w/LED). At maximum it lights up the entire room (12 x 15-ish) so mostly we use at half-strength for a pretty, soft illumination. My husband installed, and he's very handy and skilled, but it is tricky as others have noted--and heavy for one person--and needed to use wall anchors to secure well (not included).
Abundant, well dispersed light
Verified Buyer
These new lights provided a modern looking, low energy replacement for old bedroom lights. The are attractive and provide very abundant nice lighting. We installed them ourselves easily although it would have been nice for some instructions to be available.
Fits In Well

Good looking light that fits in well with a soft modern kitchen.
Great Light Quality
Verified Buyer
The fixture is for a bathroom, I want better quality lighting while saving on energy usage. This gives us both. The illumination of the room is fantastic...the fixture is elegant with a high quality globe and I am happy to be using less electricity. I plan to buy another one for the second bathroom.
Thin Metal
The electrician who mounted it was complaining about the thin metal base and I agree with him We got the 22 inch wide one ( heavy glass ) and it looks beautiful. However, when taking it off the base tends to come off with it. Also: when trying to mount it securely the thin metal easily gets pushed in and dented. This is all fine and can not be seen from once it is put together. However., it might be an issue when doing any kind of service or cleaning. I just missed the XMas sale with this fixture btw...it was 400 bucks on back Friday and then went down to 300 for xmas. But it is on backorder now - I guess that explains the pricing strategy.
