Show your true colors with the David Trubridge Coral Pendant. Inspired by the sea, the structure is comprised of star fish shaped pieces culminating in a design similar to a coral reef. Keep a natural look or choose an interior color available in a variety of vibrant hues. The ambient light within casts geometric shadows around the fixture while also highlighting the pop of color inside. Environmentally conscious, the fixture ships flat to reduce packaging and freighting to help preserve ocean and land environments while also allowing for easy home assembly.

When our designer suggested this pendant I was a bit skeptical, especially since we would have to assemble ourselves. But....assembly was super easy, the fixture is gorgeous and the pattern play of light on the walls and ceiling are stunning. It definitely is the star in our den.

We have Had this fixture in our home for seven years and it has been amazing. We just installed a second one in our ski house. It looks beautiful lit and unlit, and creates wonderful shadows and patterns on our ceilings.

My husband and I LOVE this fixture. It was a bit of a puzzle to assemble, but worth the challenge for the reduced carbon footprint/packaging. It casts an amazing shadow and looks awesome when off, too. Highly recommended!

I love how this product looks online. LOVE IT! But it is not obvious that you have to put it together on your own. I bought the 16" size and at $410 a piece, I would expect it to come fully assembled. I ordered via phone and was never told about this by the sales associate. Very disappointed.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Looks great but you need to build it

This light fixture is beautiful but you have to build the whole thing yourself from many small parts. It's a modular design but painstaking due to all the tiny screw-like devices you have to push in to "lock" the pieces together. Directions are difficult. They have a video though it's not comprehensive enough. Made a few mistakes along the way but it's now done. It's gorgeous but not without a sore thumb and time. The 31" size took me 3 hours. I would say buy it if you don't mind building it.

David Trubridge

After sailing the Pacific with his family for several years, British native David Trubridge landed in Hawkes Bay, NZ, in 1985, and stayed. Inspired by their travels, Trubridge put his skills in architecture and ship-building to use in the design of furniture. A pretty much local business suddenly exploded into an international one when, in 2001, his Body Raft chair was picked up for production by Cappellini.
